Description
Aloo Papad is a thin, crispy Indian snack made primarily from mashed potatoes, salt, and mild spices. The mixture is rolled into small round discs and traditionally sun-dried for a few days until completely hard. Once dried, it can be deep-fried or roasted to become light, crunchy, and slightly puffy.
It has a mild salty taste with a subtle potato flavor, making it a perfect side dish with meals or a standalone tea-time snack. Some varieties also include black pepper, cumin, red chili, or green chili for a spicy twist.
